Business practise
Our success is dependent on confidence, good reputation and high ethical standards as the basis for binding relations with customers, suppliers, employees and the community.

Fair competition

Framo supports free enterprise. We seek to compete in a fair and ethically justifiable manner.

Corruption

Framo is against all forms of corruption. Corruption includes bribery and trading in influence.
Corruption undermines legitimate business activities, distorts competition, ruins reputations and exposes companies and individuals to risk. The prohibition against bribes and trading in influence applies both to the party giving or offering an improper advantage and to the party who requests, receives or accepts such advantage. Such improper advantage can take different forms, like cash, objects, credits, discounts, travel, accommodation or services.

Customers and suppliers

Framo will conduct its business in such a way that customers and suppliers trust us. Suppliers are
expected to follow ethical standards which are consistent with our ethical requirements.

Intermediaries

Intermediaries include agents, consultants and others who act between Framo and a third party. Before intermediaries are hired, the responsible manager must ensure that the intermediary’s reputation, background and abilities are appropriate and satisfactory. We expect that intermediaries act in accordance with our ethical requirements. Agreements with intermediaries must be made in writing and describe the nature of services between the parties. The agreed compensation must be in proportion to services rendered. Payments must only be made against documentation and must be in accordance with general accounting principles.

Political activity

Framo does not support individual political parties or individual politicians. This does not exclude Framo from supporting political views in the interest of our companies.
You are free to participate in democratic political activities, but this must be without reference to
Framo.

Equal opportunities

Framo will show respect for all individuals and make active efforts to ensure a good working environment characterized by equality and diversity. Framo does not accept any form of discrimination of its own employees or others involved in Framo’s activities. Discrimination includes all unequal treatment, exclusion or preference on the basis of race, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion, political views, national or ethnic origin or other similar circumstances that result in the setting aside or compromising of the principle of equality.

Environment

The Framo range of products and services is based on applying quality technology to the benefit of improved profit for our customers and to the enhanced protection of the environment. Our conduct towards customers, business friends and colleagues shall clearly show our commitment to operate in environmentally and socially responsible ways.
