How can digitalisation and a new business model change the way we collaborate?

Framo had the opportunity last week at MOD2019 conference in Stavanger to present some of Framo's thoughts on ways suppliers and contractors can work together in new ways when live data is as readily available as air.

Johan Lunde Sagen presented how Framo, together with industry leading partners, such as Aker BP and Cognite, are looking at how availability of contextualized data can result in either reshaping the traditional vendor/purchaser set-up or replacing it for something new, like a SMART contract.

The newly available insights of how the pumps of a specific installation are functioning, results in more efficient maintenance. While Framo service agreements previously just defined hourly rates, we will now focus on uptime.
