Framo Online Training Course

A 2-day seminar broadcast live from our Framo Studio with our Training Supervisors offering engaging presentations with practical demonstrations.

Microsoft Teams is the preferred platform to broadcast allowing participants to attend at home, onboard or anywhere in the world. The focus areas in the training are theoretical knowledge, operation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting at sea.

  • Introduction to Framo and the Cargo Pumping System.
  • Technical buildup of Framo hydraulic and control system.
  • Hydraulic oil & filtration.
  • Framo Cargo Pump construction.
  • Preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Purging.
  • Pumping theory.
  • Operation of Framo Cargo Pump system during discharging, loading, stripping and tank cleaning.
  • Spare parts.
  • Evaluation of used parts.
  • Framo Portable Pump.


Learning Outcomes

By the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Apply best practices and maintain safety awareness when working with Framo systems.
  • Plan and manage spare parts inventory and maintenance schedules efficiently.
