All Framo SR/SX pumps are based on the same technological platform, featuring a proprietary rim-driven permanent magnet motor that provides high efficiency across a wide operating range. 

The motor is cooled and lubricated by the pumped medium itself (e.g., seawater), and the hermetically sealed, pressure-compensated design ensures stable operation even under varying and demanding conditions. The SR2000 is developed to eliminate the need for traditional sealing systems and reduce the risk of failure points. 

The pumps are controlled via a frequency converter, allowing stepless and precise speed regulation, making it easy to adjust capacity as needed. The construction also offers great installation flexibility and can be integrated in various orientations and types of facilities.
