OSV cargo pumping

As the demand for chemicals in offshore operations increases, OSVs are evolving from standard supply vessels into smaller chemical tankers. Their new operations require more flexibility in cargo handling, with pump technology specifically built for the task.

In 2009, Framo began developing a submerged cargo pump specifically designed to handle wet cargoes commonly transported on OSVs, including mud, brine, methanol, recovered oil and various chemicals. Today the Framo OSV cargo pumping system provides increased flexibility to OSVs needing to handle a wide range of cargoes.
